Knowing Jesus Christ

 

1. GOD LOVES YOU and has planned for you to have a full life on earth and eternal life in heaven with Him.
I have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest. - John 10:10

 

2. The problem is that ALL OF US HAVE CHOSEN TO DISOBEY GOD. This is sin and the result of sin is spiritual death and eternal separation from God.

 

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death (separation from God for eternity) - Romans 6:23

 

3. Jesus Christ is the ONLY ANSWER to this problem and the ONLY WAY to God.

 

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6

 

4. You must trust Jesus Christ to forgive you for your sin and ask Him to become your Lord and Savior.

 

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. - John 1:12

 

5. You can receive Jesus Christ into your life by praying a prayer like this one:

 

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I want to turn from the sin in my life. I know that I need Your forgiveness and I believe You died for me. Please forgive me of my sin and come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior and commit my life to You. Thank You for saving me.
