2012 Missions Trips
Haiti Village of DesPinos:
The Haiti Team is heading back to the village of DesPinos just outside Port Au Prince for the third year in a row. Since the catastrophic earthquake of January 2010 Flint Groves has been committed to restoring hope back to this devastated country by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and addressing physical concerns such as food, housing, and medical needs. Each year we partner with mission family Joel & April Hess who run the Haiti Gospel Mission, their focus is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus to the Haitians and see their lives changed by the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
This year we are continuing to repair earthquake damage to Haiti Gospel Mission school where hundreds of children are taught the Bible each day. We also will be doing repairs to its sister church in Leoagane which was at the epicenter of the earthquake. An overnight camping trip is also planned to the mountain village of Mirbalais with our team of Flint Groves nurses and a local Haitian doctor for a medical outreach and to evangelize the community there.
